These Filters are also an excellent choice as a guard filter to HEPA filters in any typical cleanroom or hospital applications.

These units are easily installed in AHU Return Air Plenum or return air ducts, passing recirculated air through the air cleaner. The air is purified and recycled back to the indoor spaces.
A permanent, washable, aluminum mesh pre-filter captures large particles in the air pulled in by the blower. High-voltage ionization within the electrostatic cell then attracts and captures the fine particles on alternately charged aluminum plates, filtering up to 95% of particles as minute as 0.1 micron and preventing harmful irritants from being constantly recirculated.
The permanent, aluminum air purifying cells can be easily removed for cleaning, so there are no replacement filters to ever buy. An optional, replaceable charcoal after-filter greatly reduces common odors.
Available in two sizes and capable of cleaning 1000 to 2,000 CFM, ESPAIR™ air cleaners offers an optional feature, built-in airflow sensor so that the air cleaner is only running when the heating or air conditioning equipment is running.
Electrostatic Cell Air Filters include two parts : the charging and the collecting sections. In the charging section, the incoming smoke, dust and other particulates pass by ionizer wires which impart a positive electrical charge to these contaminants. The charged contaminant particles then pass into a collector plate section made up of a series of equally spaced parallel plates. Each alternate plate is charged with the same polarity as the particles, which repel, while the interleaving plates are grounded, which attract and collect the contaminants. The contaminants are held in these plates until they are washed away. Air cleaners trap dry particulates like dust, dirt, lint pollens, haze particles etc.
